Products that we use in our Spa Treatments for facials, scrubs, and massages are made primarily of goat's milk.
The Benefits of Goats Milk
Why use Goat's Milk on the skin? Your skin is the largest organ of your body. It is permeable and will allow the things that come in contact with it to be absorbed. Goat's Milk is easily absorbed by the skin and is excellent for sensitive skin. People with eczema and psoriasis benefit from the nutrients in goat's milk.
Nutrients
Goat's Milk is loaded with calcium, phosphorous, naturally occurring sodium, potassium, magnesium, Vitamins A, D, B-1, B-2, B-3, and B-12, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, and many other trace elements.
Moisture
Goat's Milk has a high fat content that provides extra moisture to the skin.
Exfoliation
The lactic acid in goat's milk aids in exfoliation, washing away dead skin cells and revealing the newer, smoother skin underneath.
Protection
The PH of goat's milk is similar to that of the human skin, making it less harmful to our skin's acid mantle. Supporting the acid mantel makes skin less easy to damage and helps against bacteria and viruses.
Absorption
The molecular structure of the proteins and fatty acids in goat's milk are smaller and shorter than those of cow's milk, making it more easily absorbed into the skin.
